Eddy current sensors are non-contact linear measurement instruments offering exceptional reliability, wide measurement range, high sensitivity, rapid response, and immunity to oil and other media contamination. These sensors are extensively used in power generation, petroleum, chemical, and metallurgical industries for dynamic and static non-contact displacement measurement of large rotating machinery.
Key Applications
Radial and axial shaft displacement measurement
Differential expansion monitoring
Shaft eccentricity detection
Shaft vibration analysis
Key phase identification
Rotational speed measurement
Available Configurations
Our eddy current sensor portfolio includes multiple specifications to accommodate diverse measurement requirements. Probes are available in three diameters (Φ8mm, Φ11mm, Φ25mm) with total system cable lengths of either 5 meters or 9 meters.
System Components
The DWQZ series eddy current sensor system comprises three integrated components:
DWQZ Probes
Each probe includes an inductor, protective cover, stainless steel housing, high-frequency cable, and high-frequency connector. Available in various diameters (Φ8mm, Φ11mm, Φ25mm) with installation options including upright, reverse, and threadless configurations. Standard cable lengths: 1m or 0.5m.
DWQZ Extension Cables
Features SMA self-locking plugs with oil-proof protective sleeves to ensure connector integrity and system reliability. Available in four standard lengths: 4m, 4.5m, 8m, and 8.5m.
DWQZ Preamplifiers
The system core component incorporating oscillation, linear detection, filtering, linear compensation, and amplification circuitry. Available in three sizes (Φ8mm, Φ11mm, Φ25mm) corresponding to probe diameters, with 5m and 9m total cable length options.
Target Machinery
Ideal for monitoring and measurement applications on steam turbines, water turbines, blowers, compressors, gearboxes, and large cooling pumps in industrial settings.
