Product Description
Mitsubishi FR-D740-080SC-EC 400 V POWER SUPPLY 3 PHASE 3.7 KW 5 HP 8.0 AMP EUROPEAN VERSION
Installation and Safety Instructions
  • Do not use an earth leakage circuit breaker as an electric shock protector without connecting the equipment to the earth
  • Connect the equipment to the earth securely
  • Wire the earth (ground) terminal independently (Do not connect two or more cables to one terminal)
Cable Specifications
  • Use the cable sizes specified for surrounding air temperature: 40°C maximum
  • If conditions differ, select appropriate wire according to EN 60204
  • Use a tinned (non-zinc plating) crimp terminal to connect the earth cable
  • When tightening the screw, be careful not to damage the threads
  • For Low Voltage Directive compliance, use specified PVC cable
Circuit Protection
  • Use molded case circuit breaker and magnetic contactor conforming to EN or IEC Standard
  • When using an earth leakage circuit breaker, use a residual current operated protective device (RCD) of type B
  • Alternatively, provide double/reinforced insulation or use a transformer between main power supply and inverter
Operating Conditions
  • Use under overvoltage category II conditions (IEC 60664)
  • For pollution degree 3, install in IP54 or higher enclosure
  • For pollution degree 2 outside enclosure, fix fan cover with provided screws
Important Installation Notes:
  • Install on a strong surface securely and vertically with bolts
  • Maintain adequate clearances and cooling measures
  • Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and high humidity locations
  • Install on nonflammable wall surface
  • When designing enclosures, consider heat generation and operating environment
