Based on the principle of conductivity, the probe and the tank wall can serve as the two poles,the air and the insulated element becomes the medium in this situation. When the level of material rise to the probe, the medium air will be substituted by material, so the dielectric constant would be changed. As the dielectric constant of material is larger than that of air (=1), which will change the conductivity and impedance at the main time, the circuit board of L2000C will detect the change and enlarge it, by compare with the reference point, the circuit will generate a relay output accordingly.
The set of reference point is important for the unit generate a correct output.
Based the technical of RF, a radio frequency will be sent to the working element and the guard element, which will cut off the current generated by the adhered material on the element.
By this way, the probe can measure the level of material without the influence of adhered material.
L3541CR is developed and produced on the basis of Princo’s technology.
With the NULL-KOTETM Circuitry and the technology of surface mounting, the sensor could immune to adverse effects from conductive coating build-up. L3541has the function of “self-checking”, which allows the instrument check it’s performing on the field.
Operating on the RF impedance sensing principle, the L3541CR could detect the presence (high level) or absence (low level) of a wide variety of materials. It may be made fail-safe in either high or low mode. It can operate in conjunction with varied process materials, such as refined oils, gasoline, conductive slurries, etc. Consisting of two separate devices, a Sensor Head and a Control Unit, allows convenient calibration.
The Model L3541CR could be used in conjunction with an L86X Series Sensor Probe. L863C is the probe commonly used with the L3541CR, L890C is the flat probe and the flexible wire probe is also on offer. Make by different material, Teflon or Stainless Steel, the probe could work in a wide application, such as ambient with high temperature or pressure. And it could be used to measure liquid, powder, solid and corrosive material
L3541CR1 is suitable for single point level control at high location or low location. L3541CR2 can offer two point level control at the main time, it can serve at high point and low point at the main time.
